Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 of 1983 in Worthington, Ohio is an American actress. She is best known for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills as well in ABC's Lost television series. Originating from Worthington Ohio, she quit high school to move into Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. Although she was struggling financially, her 2001 debut was in the role of Rachel's Room's primary character. After earning an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her performance of Murder in Greenwich of a 15-year aged Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace went on to be awarded. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. She played the lead role for two seasons, and also won the Screen Actors Guild Award. Leaving the series Grace was keen to work as a film actress, and had starred opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. The actress starred on the screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 as well as Taken (2008) alongside Liam Neeson. She reprised the role for Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised her role as Shannon in Lost and the final episode. She appeared in 2013's seventh season Californication. She plays Faith, who is the muse and fan of the actors. Gyllenhaal won critical praise for her performance as a lead character in Secretary (2002), which is an erotic romantic drama as well as Sherrybaby (2006). She received a nomination from the Golden Globe Award. The actress gained more attention for her role as Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) due to the success of several commercial films she starred in in 2006. The film was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her role as Rachel Dawes in Crazy Heart, (2009). In the following years, she appeared in comedies and dramas: Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Will Not Back Down (2012). In addition to her role as a Secret Service agent, she also appeared on screen in White House Down (2013) as well as Frank (2014).
